Ballade reports, Supersilent and Motorpsycho are melting together, doing a series of concerts as a supergroup tempting to name Motorpsilent. In March the two bands act as one in a 15 date national tour.

The common denominator of the two acts is Supersilent’s Helge Sten. Often known under his producer moniker Deathprod he has produced important Motorpsycho albums such as Demon Box (1993) and Timothy’s Monster (1994) and can practically be reckoned as in-band producer ever since. He was also a permanent member of the bandin the early nineties, and has appeared with the band on several occasions.

The two bands appeared together during Supersilent’s ten year anniversary at Blå in 2008. At the time Motorpsycho didn’t have a permanent drummer after Håkon Gebhardt, drummer since 1991, left in 2005.

Producers of the tour, Rikskonsertene, claims “this will range grom Supersilent’s gentle and researching expression to Motorpsycho’s catchy, melodic and hard-hitting universe. (…) So leave your wine glasses and candle lights as this will be a soul-setting experience whether you live in a shared house at Svartlamoen, high rise at Romsås or villa in Tromsdalen.”
