Bergen downtempo giants Röyksopp have been confirmed as the headline act for Ekko, the hip electronic music festival that will grace their hometown this September. Last years festival saw proceedings switch to the larger USF Verftet venue, and featured The Whitest Boy Alive, Annie and Booka Shade amongst the bigger names. The expansion continues this year too, as concerts will now be spread over three days, and the booking of Norway’s most famous musical export confirms organisers’ ambitions. The strains of Röyksopp’s latest Junior will mingle with the organic post-rock of Danes Efterklang, the rousing Italo-disco of Todd Terje and, well, all of these guys:
