1600 musicians played 350 concerts on 30 stages scattered across Oslo this Saturday. With a programme like that, I soon stopped trying to plan what shows to see where, when and next. Musikkfest Oslo, inspired by the French Fête de la Musique, is not your regular festival, it’s about wandering about a city that has burst into song. West side story-like. Except I keep to the east side.
