New Sergeant Petter album ready for release

Written on March 16th, 2009 by Åse Bredeli Røyset

Sgt. Petter released his first album, It’s a Record on New Records back in 2003, and there was joy. Since then he has released an EP and two other albums, but neither managed to get him back in the saddle as the king of alt. country pop.

Along with bass player Morten Skage, the Sergeant has completed the recording and mixing of album four, in Sporlyd Studio in mountainesqe Vaksdal. A lot of mystery; no album title, no release date, no tracks streamed from nowhere but they promise us these songs:

We’re Not Gonna Miss You
Friday Morning
The Kindest Kind Of Girl
Defined Behind
Hard vs. Easy
Coldhearted Day
Hello
High Talk Gibberish
The Morning Choir
A Little Lost
I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll
Verses Gone

We’re holding our breath in excitement
