Bands unite for Pirate Love

Written on February 25th, 2009 by Andreas Larssen

We reported about two weeks ago that the Pirates tour ship van got stolen in Rome. Losing the car, and all their equipment (estimated to about 500.000 NOK, that’s about 70.000 $), they only managed to do the french leg of the tour

To help the Pirates back on their feet, in true Norwegian dugnad style, they’ve gathered some friends and are throwing themselves a support bash at Blå, Oslo Tuesday 3rd of March. Performing are:

Happy Dagger (Ivar “Silver” Nikolaisen’s folk thrash punk side project) <<myspace>>
I Was a King (read review) <<myspace>>
The Lionheart Brothers (the dreampopper’s first gig with new drummer?) <<myspace>>
Lukestar (we told you we’d get to see them again soon!) <<myspace>>
Toft/Nikolaisen (Debut concert with Emil Nikolaisen (Serena Maneesh) and Sten Ove Toft - rumour has it this is far beyond your average pop)
Pirate Love (no further introduction needed) <<myspace>>
