Quart offers new headliner

Written on February 7th, 2009 by Andreas Larssen

So, how was it again? The Quart Festival died in 08. Then gave away their line up to Oslo. The Oslo version of the festival was a blast, and sold out. Quart got new owners, and are now going for that come back with a blast. Taking it back from Oslo to Kristiansand where it belongs.

The festival will come back with huge ass headliners. Or with their own words; “every day will have a headliner bigger than Bowie”. So far they’ve let us down announcing that Slash & Friends is their first headline. Now they announce their next: Marilyn Manson.

Quart writes:

Manson is currently in the studio working on his forthcoming album scheduled for release in May on Interscope Records. This highly anticipated record reunites Manson and Twiggy Ramirez for their first collaboration since “Holy Wood” in 2001.

The band promises in short, one hell of a record that Manson himself describes as RUTHLESS, HEAVY AND EXTREMELY VIOLENT. We look forward to having Marilyn Manson back on stage in Kristiansand.

Marilyn? Manson??? I don’t know. If Bowie comes though, I might too.
