(Almost) final bands for by:Larm

Norway’s premiere showcase for new bands is shaping up to be a damn sight better than sliced bread, which has never really taken hold in Scandinavia anyway. Fifty-five new names have just been announced for the festival, scheduled to take place from the 19-21 of February next year, spread across a variety of venues. As it stands festival-goers will be able to enjoy a quite mouthwatering selection of Norwegian acts; from big-names (Annie, Lindstrom, Whitest Boy Alive) through, um, Lord of the Rings influenced names (Balrogg, anyone?), to names that place subtle faith in the power of suggestion (Major Label). So something for everyone then. And i didn’t say ’smorgasbord’ once…
